I got a pleasure of being Tessa's nurse when she was hospitalized in Houston. She inspired me with her positivity, smile, and gratitude. She had bad days, but she didn't make it about herself. She would always ask me how I was doing and how's my day going. She's always made me feel important. I just want to keep those happy memories in my heart and when I'm having a bad day at work. I just have to remember Tessa and her beautiful smile.

Oh Maritess, Tessa adored you and all the other D10E nurses. She especially loved your story about the patient who snuck out for Thanksgiving because it made us feel better about sneaking out to Olive Garden!
