I was so lucky to have known Tessa for a few years when I lived in Washington, DC. I admired Tessa's ability to bring people from various parts of her life together - whether you were a new friend like me, a friend from college, Tampa, or family - just to name a few. As a result, I was introduced to so many wonderful people who all had the gift of knowing her in common.
I am also grateful for the times I spent with Tessa one-on-one getting sweetgreen, Jenni's Ice Cream, or just walking around the city. She was an incredible listener and always compassionate. I will miss her light in the world but am such a better person for knowing her. My condolences to her family whom she loved so much.
