I met Tessa when I was staff at Hopkins, shortly after she was diagnosed with cancer. She came, along with family, into my office to discuss her diagnosis and support for finishing school while in treatment. She really did have a way of making every person who she crossed paths with feel valued and special - I remember thinking my interactions with her felt almost backwards, as if she was taking care of me when my job was to support her. She always made such effort to connect and ask about my day while she was going through this big, scary, life altering thing. I will always treasure my interactions with Tessa. Such a kind, genuine, thoughtful soul. Much love to Tessa and her family and loved ones. We are all better off for having known Tessa.
