I knew Tessa after a few friends shared her glamour post with me back in 2017. We both went to Hopkins but only met a year after graduation when we were both working in DC. Even before we've met, I felt an instant connection because of the same age that we were both diagnosed at and how we both want to help young cancer patinets. Our time in DC overlapped only for a few short months, but her laughter, her positivity, and her generous and grateful outlook on life still affects me to this day. Every single time I think of Tessa, I am reminded of what a gift it has been to be given the opportunity to get to know her. Words cannot describe her beautiful soul and her tender heart. It feels so unfair to know that heaven welcomed its brightest angel. Tessa, you are forever missed.
